I have a HP Pavilion dv6238ea and it had xp on it and the webcam driver i downloaded from hp.com worked fine. Then i formatted it and installed windows 7 32bit in it. Windows 7 detected the webcam and installed the driver. The webcam shows as 'HP Webcam 1000' and the manufacturer is 'Micro Vision' and also the driver is provided by 'Micro Vision'. But it doesn't work. It only shows a black screen. I downloaded the vista driver from hp.com for my laptop() but it is not able to install.
