Hp Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media Usb

I'm trying to configure a new DL380 Gen 8 server with Intelligent Provisioning. Hp Officejet 7110 Service Manual Pdf there. With it, I'm trying to install the vSphere 5.5 custom image that the HP site directed me to download. Following what instructions I could find, it says to start IP, go to the OS install options, I choose ESXi/vSphere custom on a USB drive. On the next page I can open the USB drive and I see the ISO file. It says you should be able to double-click it and it should allow you to go to the next page to continue the install. In this case, it just acts like it is reading the image, but does not show me the continue button to go to the next page.

How can the answer be improved? HP intelligent provisioning failed to start. Instructions to create a bootable DVD with the IP image are provided on the HP Intelligent Provisioning recovery media.

I'm then just stuck at that page and can't go forward. Before this, I had already downloaded and run the SPP for the server upgrading some firmware. I also tried to create a bootable USB drive and install it the old fashioned way.

So if you don't have the latest Firmware for HPIP, then it is far far than intelligent. (STUPID), but if u have the firmware as latest it is supposed to be intelligent. The conclusion, HPIP is just a replacement for Smart start, PSP, and SPP for version of OS that it is released for.
